In July 2017, The Prisoner Wine Company and Roundhouse Agency tapped Land and Sea Dept. to help produce The Makery Experience — a celebration of local artists, designers, and makers, focused around the Prisoner portfolio of wines.

LSD suggested a great group of chefs to design a picnic style dinner. Chef Hunter Moore (of our very own Parson’s) joined Chef Abra Berens (Grainor Farms) and Chef Won Kim (Kimski) designed dishes to be paired with Prisoner wines.

LSD also helped to curate the evenings musical and artistic talent. Bill McKay and Ryley Walker started the evening off with a mellow guitar set, and Wild Belle closed it out with a live performance.

Artist Mike Rea created a wood barbecue set sculpture, The Weaving Mill made some giant lawn blankets for lounging, Jen Janson set up her tintype photo booth, and our very own Cody Hudson designed the invitations, signage, lawn games, and program for the night.
