Land and Sea Dept. is looking for a full-time social media manager to handle content creation and posting across six restaurant concepts (Parson’s Chicken and Fish, Cherry Circle Room, Game Room, Milk Room, Lonesome Rose, and Golden Teardrops).

Position: Social Media Manager, Land and Sea Dept.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports to: Director of Marketing, PR, and Partnerships
Responsibilities:
Analyze social account performance and create weekly and monthly reports
Assist marketing team with various projects as needed
Attend events for content creation or coordinate event content creation
Capture and edit social media photography on site at restaurants
Collaborate with marketing and design teams on brand goals to ensure cohesion across promotional platforms
Create social media schedules for all concepts with marketing team
Create basic graphics for social media usage
Develop content and copy for posts, working with Marketing Director for approvals
Establish and maintain social media editorial calendars for the year, including national and local holidays and events, and restaurant specifics - events and initiatives with marketing team
Execute paid social media campaigns
Identify industry and local trends and translate into relevant content for social channels
Manage guest interactions and engagement on social accounts
Manage and create daily social media for six restaurant concepts, including - Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook (Parson’s Chicken and Fish, Cherry Circle Room, Game Room, Milk Room, Lonesome Rose, and Golden Teardrops)
Track analytics and growth metrics
Qualifications and skills:
2+ years experience in social media content generation, social media management and photography
A record of achieving results through sponsored social media campaigns
Able and available to work flexible hours necessary to manage job responsibilities effectively
Able and willing to attend weekend and evening events as needed
Communication skills, including a strong grasp on spelling and grammar
Creativity and an interest in Chicago’s cultural scene and hospitality community
Experience with Adobe Suite
Familiarity with Sprout Social or equivalent
Must have own transportation to attend off site events
Photography skills and experience
Prior restaurant experience a plus
Willingness to collaborate and work with all team members (front and back of house) in order to achieve success
