Andrea's Speed Rack Happy Hour

Every Tuesday* until May, Lost Lake bartender Andrea Kloehn is hosting a series of Speed Rack Happy Hours (5-7pm) in Lost Lake’s Stranger in Paradise!

Speed Rack is a prestigious bartending competition for women bartenders, founded by women, and benefitting women by raising funds for breast cancer research. It’s bigger than boobs; breast cancer research saves women’s lives. At Speed Rack’s midwest regional competition in December 2018 — her first major cocktail competition — Andrea went three rounds against the midwest’s strongest bartenders and took home the Mz Speed Rack Midwest title! Before she competes in the Speed Rack National Championships at Drink Chicago Style on May 7th, she’s gonna need to get in gear — and YOU CAN HELP!

Swing thru Stranger in Paradise every Tuesday between 5-7pm, and check out the menu of $8 classic cocktails and dealer’s choices Andrea’s serving. Every round helps her practice — plus $1 from each drink will go to Howard Brown Health, which offers cancer screenings for Chicago’s LGBTQIA+ community.
