Whiskey Wednesday {Rare Edition} at L&E
Longman & Eagle is excited to announce Whiskey Wednesday {Rare Edition} – the new, monthly culmination of the Whiskey Wednesday program. General & bar manager Phil Olson will be opening the L&E vault on the last Wednesday of the month to give guests the chance to try some of L&E’s rarest vintage whiskeys.
On Wednesday, March 29, for the inaugural event, Phil will be featuring some bourbons from the Jim Beam Distillery, as well as spirits from now-defunct distilleries that have been acquired by Beam over the last century.
Old Grand-Dad {Bottled 1960}
Old Crow Chessmen Decanter {Bottled 1969}

Guests will have the chance to not only try these rare bottlings, but also receive a ‘master class’ in the history of Jim Beam and Old Grand-Dad from the 1960s and 1970s with a guided tasting from Phil. Tickets are $100 per person, and light snacks from Longman & Eagle Chef de Cuisine Joshua Mutchnick will be served.
