A Love Letter For You

Our first foray into film screening, here we were fortunate enough to premiere A Love Letter For You, a film conceived by artist Stephen ‘ESPO’ Powers and directed by Joey Garfield.

The sold out screening took place at the Logan Theatre, in the Logan Square neighborhood in Chicago.

Working with Garfield, Powers and the film company Ghost Robot, we promoted and then presented the film to an enthusiastic and packed house, a work that “paves new ground, seamlessly blending documentary and narrative storylines to chronicle Stephen Powers’ Love Letter Project for the Mural Arts Program in West Philadelphia.” The film follows POWERS as he works to create and execute fifty murals across the elevated train lines of West Philadelphia. We organized a cocktail reception before the screening, Joey Garfield introduced the film, and then participated in a robust discussion after its conclusion.
