Eat BBQ, Help BBQ
Our friends at critically-acclaimed Franklin Barbecue in Austin suffered a fire in their smokehouse a couple weeks ago, putting them temporarily out of commission while they make repairs.
On Sunday, September 17, Parson’s Chicken and Fish will be hosting a barbecue to help support the Franklin team until they’re ready to re-open their doors. Chef Hunter Moore will be making a pulled-pork sandwich (featuring a special sauce recipe from the man himself, Chef Aaron Franklin), and we’ll have some Texas-centric beers and cocktails from bar manager Charlie Schott, too. Proceeds from these special offerings will go directly to Franklin team.
